About this event

Charity & Causes • Healthcare

We are delighted to welcome you all to St Columba's Church, Pont Street, London on Tuesday 2nd December, for the charity's ninth annual Christmas Carol Concert and Drinks Reception.

Join us for a festive night hosted by Manveen Rana, with readings from Joseph Fiennes, Lord Soames, and musical performances from Sonoro and soprano soloist Ellie Laugharne......and more surprise star guests!

Doors will open at 6pm for a 6.45pm prompt start.

The Drinks Reception will immediately follow the Concert in the hall (about 8.15pm) beneath the Church - all ticket holders are welcome to join us for drinks and canapes, and to get the chance to buy our 'Lucky Envelope' prizes.

ALL funds raised on the night go to Supporting Wounded Veterans, and the veterans they support. Please help the charity continue to look after those veterans who have sacrificed so much for us and our country.

If you have any questions, would like to volunteer, sponsor or advertise at the Concert, please email Polly at polly@swv.org.uk

We can't wait for you to join us on 2nd December!

p.s. if you can't make it, but would like to make a donation to the charity instead, please go to our website, where any size of donation is much appreciated, or why not 'Sponsor a Programme Bauble' on the ticketing page here. If ordered before 18th November, your chosen name (can be you, a chosen loved one or anon!) will appear in the Concert Programme on a Christmas bauble. If bought after 18th November, your name will be thanked on the charity's website!

Frequently asked questions

What time is the Concert and drinks reception?

You can enter the church from 6pm to grab the best seats! The Concert will start promptly at 6.45pm, and will end about 8pm/8.15pm. The drinks reception (in the lower ground floor of the church) will start immediately after the Concert, and will end at 9.15pm.

Is there wheelchair acces?

Yes, there is wheelchair access to the church and drinks reception via a ramp onto the ground floor of the main building, and then via lifts that go to all floors. If you would like assistance on the night, please email polly@swv.org.uk beforehand.

Need to know dietary information in the canapes?

Please email Polly at polly@swv.org.uk ahead of the event.

How can I support the charity's evening more?

Thank you! There will be ways to donate straight to the charity on the night (cash/cheques/card donations all accepted), and also a chance to buy 'Lucky Envelopes', where the secret prizes inside are guaranteed to be worth more than the price tag on the envelope.

Is there reserved seating?

For general admission, no. So get there promptly at 6pm to get the best seats!

Is the Concert filmed and photographed?

Yes it is, as we love to have a record of the night. Pictures/film may appear in publicity for future events, and on the charity's website.
