Event description

Description

Childnet's staff sessions discuss the many positives of the internet and look at the most popular sites and services being used by children and young people today.

We will discuss e-safety issues that may be affecting your school community and give out relevant advice. The presentation highlights resources that can be used to teach pupils about e-safety and provides advice on the importance of protecting your professional reputation.

If your school is about to adopt the new OCC negotiated model Social Media Policy, then this seminar is good for you. Your school to directly organise a similar CPD session would cost more than £400!

This event is being organised by Oxfordshire NASUWT primarily for members of Oxfordshire NASUWT but opened colleagues across the county. Non-NASUWT members will be asked to pay a donation towards the cost of the speaker. We request that schools only register one colleague initially to this free workshop. If teacher joins NASUWT before or during the event a refund will be offered.

Schools are expected to cover in-school costs of colleagues attending this event. Oxfordshire NASUWT will not be able to cover travel/childcare expenses for attendees.
