📅 Date: Tuesday 16th September
🕖 Time: 7:00 – 8:30pm
📍 Location: Wigod Way Wallingford Family Centre
This is the first in our Supporting Young People’s Mental Health & Wellbeing series, curated and hosted by Michelle Hammond, Chair of TRAIN Youth Wallingford, and multi-award-winning transformational talk therapist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner based at The Lodge, 51A High Street (alongside Castle Osteopathy Clinic).
Why attend?
This session offers fresh insights into the mental health and wellbeing of children and teenagers through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Inspired by Rebecca Avern’s work, you’ll gain practical knowledge to better understand the emotional and physical needs of young people – whether you’re a parent, teacher, or someone supporting them in the community.
Together, we’ll explore how ancient wisdom can shed new light on issues like anxiety, low mood, and neurodiverse needs, helping us to respond with greater compassion, clarity, and effectiveness. Attendees will leave with ideas and strategies they can immediately begin to apply in everyday life and practice.
Booking, cancellations & donations
We’ve worked hard to make this event free to attend, as we want it to be as accessible as possible. However, places are limited. If you’re unable to come after booking, please cancel your ticket so it can be offered to someone else.
Please note that non-attendance without cancellation will incur a £25 charge, as every space is valuable.
Donations are hugely appreciated and gratefully received. All contributions will be shared equally between Wigod Way Family Centre and TRAIN Youth Wallingford, supporting ongoing initiatives for young people in our community.
