Event description
This event will aim to offer advice and guidance to parents on a range of issues that students may face during their secondary school life.

About this Event

We are pleased to be able to offer a free event to all parents and carers who have children currently on roll at Wright Robinson College

The event is to be facilitated in conjunction with 42nd Street - an agency with expertise in supporting young people and their families through a variety of challenges that modern day life presents.

The topics will include:

Managing Stress and Anxiety

Recognising and managing Low Mood

Coping with Exam Stress

Considering the impact of peer pressure, social media and friendship groups on young people and how they can be supported to keep safe and find the right support to help them navigate these issues.

The college recognises that many of the issues identified above can present at any time and would advise parents / careers to take advantage of this unique opportunity even if they feel that it is not particularly relevant at this time.

We ask that young people do not attend the event as primarily this session will be aimed at parents and carers.
