How can we offer the supportive environment within which our young people can develop? It helps to understand the characteristics of young people, how they develop and what external influences affect them. And when issues affect them, learn how to respond.
Listen! Communicate! Key skills for working together effectively. Also learn about decision making structures and how you can represent others.
On the day

Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to give yourself time to register and have a drink and start to get to know everyone.

CHARGING POLICY: All courses are free for Dorset scouts adult volunteers. However, your district will be charged if you do not attend, charges are £10 - £40 depending on the course. If you are from another county and wish to book, please email to discuss.
