Event description
For artists and makers: An introduction to the flow of the Celtic Wheel and Calendric Practices

About this Event

The Autumn Equinox - known as 'the light of the water' to the Druids, marks a time when dark and light hold a balance. Mellow days and myterious nights bring about a sense of contentment, fulfilment and fruition. It is a time of gathering in and contemplating the gentle return of darkness.

For artists and makers, this is a time when we experience the balance of light and dark, external and internal, and then we begin our journey inwards. Just as we accept the natural ebb and flow of the tide, so we feel the relationship between making work and showing work; between the unknowness of new bodies of work and the clarity of completed projects.

Join us in the gallery space at The Fish Factory for fun, friendliness and discussion.
