Event description

Description

"Entrepreneurship can be taught and must be learned" is one of our favourite quotes here at Employability Town - a training company that helps young people to become super-employable.

Following this wisdom, we are a delivery partner of an EU-funded project "Learn to Learn Entrepreneurship" aimed at the creation of innovative online enterprise courses and tools for young people..

As part of this project, we are delighted to invite you to our free morning event for all professionals who work with young people to inspire them to become entrepreneurs.

During the event, you will have a chance to:

  • Hear from a range of inspirational speakers

  • Find out about current policies and innovative tools available to you to support young people on their entrepreneurial journey

  • Exchange good practices during the networking buffet lunch

The following experts will be sharing their knowledge and experience:

Jan Krauss, Political Officer at European Commission, Representation in the United Kingdom providing an overview on entrepreneurship and introduction to the adopted policies across the UK and Europe.

Philip Eeles, Ops Director & Co-Founder of Honest Burgers, sharing a story behind his success in the business and the importance of young people demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset in the workplace.

Alexis Liming, Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Nation outlining the changes within modern entrepreneurship in the UK, the feasibility of entrepreneurship as a career option and the support Enterprise Nation provides to young entrepreneurs.

Adnan Mahmood, Chief Entrepreneurial Leader at Barking Dagenham College sharing their good practice of inspiring young people to become entrepreneurs within the Further Education sector.

Nikola Hrnciarova, European Project Manager at Employability Town introducing "Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs" a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other European Countries.

Klaudia Mitura, Founder and Managing Director of Employability Town demonstrating the free online course for young people on entrepreneurship developed as part of "Learn to Learn Entrepreneurship".

We hope to see you there!

With gratitude,

Employability Town
