A Hands On Cadaver Course
This course is aimed at clinicians with experience of basic surgical implant dentistry looking to increase their practical and theoretical knowledge of the anatomy of the head and neck, relating to more complex surgical implant grafting procedures.
This two-day course focuses on the demonstration and dissection of anatomical structures, and surgical techniques. Training includes a practical session for delegates under the supervision of the course tutors.

- V Trigeminal ganglion
- Maxillary nerve
- Mandibular nerve
- Submandibular region
- Anterior triangle of the neck
- Mandibular graft harvesting
- Guided tissue regeneration and membranes - including flap design
- Sinus lift procedures,
- Sinus lift and bone grafting surgical techniques
- Soft tissue ridge augmentation
- Soft tissue grafting
Dr Craig Barclay -

Consultant in Oral Rehabilitation/ Honorary Professor in Restorative Dentistry, University of Manchester Dental Hospital. Craig qualified BDS in 1986 from Glasgow, and took up his current NHS consultant post at Manchester in 2002. He is a Consultant in Oral Rehabilitation and Honorary Professor in Restorative Dentistry, Associate Dental Postgraduate Dean for Specialist Training, Director of Education for Manchester Dental Education Centre and Director of the Square Advanced Dental Care Centre.

Massimo qualified both MD and DDS from University of Padova (Italy), then qualified as Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in 1996 from University of Verona (Italy) and completed his training as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in 2007 from University of Udine (Italy). He is Master of Arts in Forensic Odontology from University of Florence since 2010. Took up his his job as NHS Consultant at Bassano del Grappa (Italy) in 1996 then moved to Udine Regional University Hospital Trust and Treviso Regional Hospital Trust and to Manchester in 2013.
