This is an exclusive one day course during which you will place a minimum of two implants and assist for another case. Your patient will be pre selected and prepared with a full treatment plan, surgical guides and radiographs.
During the surgical procedure you will receive one-to-one supervision by an experienced clinician.
To give knowledgeable clinicians the ability to place a minimum of two SAC 'advanced' dental implants under expert tuition
To enhance your surgical and soft tissue handling skills.
To provide one-to-one surgical tuition
To complete an SAC advanced surgical case and place at least two dental implants.

Are there any prior requirements?
- Each participant needs to be GDC UK registered
- Each participant must have indemnity insurance (this can be obtained in writing form your defence Society)
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
- Free parking on site for one vehicle
What do I need to I bring to the course?
You will need to bring:
- Clean ironed scrubs (trousers and top)
- Clinical shoes (not outdoor shoes)
- Protective glasses
- Loupes and a light if you use one (maximum of 3X magnification)

Jonathan Schofield BDS DPDS MFGDP(UK) MSc (Dental Implantology)
Jonathan, the founder of The Dental Implant Clinic, graduated from Bristol University in 1986. He has over twenty years of experience in the field of Dental Implantology. His training has been in the UK, Switzerland and Germany. His particular interests are implants in the cosmetic zone – making implants imperceptible from natural teeth. Jonathan lectures throughout the UK and internationally on dental implant matters. He is a part-time Senior Lecturer at Bristol university and a Fellow of the International Team of Implantologists (ITI), which is a group of academics and clinicians who are dedicated to research and teaching in implantology. Until 2007 he sat on the national committee of the A.D.I. (Association of Dental Implantology).
Timothy Harris BDS MFDS RCS (Eng) MSc (Dental Implantology)
Tim graduated from Bristol University in 2002. He has extensive post-graduate training, including teaching, in oral surgery and implantology. Tim also works at the Bristol Dental Hospital as a clinical teacher and speciality dentist, performing oral surgery, and is a Dentist with Special Interest (DwSI) in Oral Surgery in Somerset. Trained to offer sedation, he enjoys treating nervous and anxious patients. Tim has completed, with distinction, an MSc in Dental Implantology at Bristol University and obtained his membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005. He is a study club director for the ITI and the Young Dentist Study Club, Bath, both designed to promote education and clinical excellence in dentistry. He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and the British Association of Oral Surgeons. He is also an ITI Fellow.
