Tuesday 22nd May

Join us at The Clink Restaurant at HMP High Down for a three course lunch prepared and served by top Surrey chefs and our prisoners in training. Each chef will take on a course - starter, main and dessert - and will work with our prisoners who are training towards their professional City and Guilds qualifications.

The three chefs are:

Steve Drake, Chef Creator at Sorrel in Dorking

Fred Clapperton, Head Chef at Michelin-starred restaurant The Clock House in Ripley

Douglas Balish, Head Chef of Michelin-starred restaurant The Tudor Room at Great Fosters in Egham

Enjoy a non-alcoholic mocktail on arrival and the chance to hear from Christopher Moore, Chief Executive of The Clink Charity, who will explain the ethos behind the charity. A Clink learner will also discuss his experience of the training scheme. There will also be the chance to enter a raffle with all donations received going towards funding future prisoner training schemes.

Tickets cost £34.95, plus a booking fee.

The Clink Charity is hosting this event in association with Surrey Life magazine.

Please note: Lunch will be served at 12noon, but guests will need to arrive at The Clink check-in centre by 11.15am in order for us to go through security guidelines before heading into the prison. Any additional drinks will need to be paid for in full at the end of the event. You must bring photo ID otherwise entry to the prison will not be granted.
