Professionals working with children and young people- Part 2 of 2 of Autism Suicide Prevention Training.

This training has been commissioned by Surrey County Council. Developed and delivered in partnership between Autism Oxford UK and Making Families Count.

Autism Suicide Prevention Training Part 2 - Overview

This session will promote reflection of your own experiences and will provide a safe space to discuss and explore further. The session will focus on the following topics:

Strategies for reducing the risks of suicide.
The impact of suicide on others.
Understanding how suicidal ideation impacts autistic individuals and how best to support them.
Recognising the warning signs of suicide in autistic individuals

This training is commissioned by Surrey County Council for professionals working with children and young people (across education and healthcare) within the county of Surrey only - Any tickets booked outside this will be cancelled.

*** Please note: It is a requirement that delegates complete a pre-training module online and attend both sessions of this training (Part 1 Training Session and Part 2 Reflective Session) for the full duration of the sessions in order to finish the training in its entirety. Only then will a certificate of completion be issued.
