    On Sunday 1st September, we will be launching a brand new event – the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge!


    Join Team Maggie’s and walk 37km (23 miles) in one day to conquer some of the most beautiful peaks in Surrey (Box Hill, Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill), all while supporting people living with cancer.

    With an ascent of 1060m, this promises to be a challenging hike allowing you to take in the panoramic views of the Surrey Hills area. All participants will receive a Maggie’s t shirt, a medal and a goodie bag.

    This event is for anyone over the age of 13. Those under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult on the day and will need to receive the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

    Registration costs:
    Early bird registration until end of May: £10 for adults & £5 for children
    Standard registration: £20 for adults & £10 for children

    Sponsorship target: £250

    Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

    Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

    The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
