A survey is often the first thing that comes to mind for community research, but is it always right and how do you make sure that your survey is effective?

This seminar will cover thinking about when a survey is appropriate and what type of survey to do; sampling, recruiting participants and ensuring that the survey results are robust; structuring a survey and writing good questions; and analysing survey results.
