The workshop will combine talks and demonstrations with opportunities for hands-on work.
Lunch will be provided, and participants will make selections on the day. Those with intolerances or allergies are advised to bring their own.
This event is subject to changing COVID restrictions. Those who book will be contacted if the event cannot proceed as intended. COVID measures such as physical distancing and contact tracing will be in place on the day.
Frew Conservation is an independent organisation offering historic building consultancy and training, specialising in conserving and repairing traditional masonry buildings. They operate throughout Scotland and further afield when called upon, providing impartial and objective advice and training services to a diverse range of clients.
The Scottish Historic Buildings Trust is delighted to deliver this free event as part of the Jedburgh CARS Education and Training Programme.
Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) is a dynamic and innovative charity dedicated to regenerating significant historic buildings for the benefit of others.
The Trust collaborates with local communities and others to preserve significant properties at risk in Scotland. We have already restored over 30 buildings and raised over £25 million with a small team and no public funding.
You can help in many ways, from providing a donation, giving of your time as a volunteer, becoming a friend and actively telling people about the work of the charity and the opportunities to explore and use these wonderful buildings.
