FREE Course to support you job searching and interviewing

About this event

Graft Thames Valley is a charity that supports individuals who are struggling to find work. Since Covid, we have also been helping anyone who has been made redundant and is nervous about finding a job. Help is provided through our online programmes, of which ‘Survival Guide Employment’ is perhaps the most successful.

We have been told we are "the best programme I have been on since losing my job to Covid" (participant on the Survival Guide course in April 2021).

A participant in July 2021 stated: "I feel empowered [by the course] ... it has totally flipped how I think about job searching."

On the course, you develop "job detecting" skills, we teach you how to understand what the right job for you is, and help you develop the skills needed to present yourself in the best light.

Our courses are well suited to anyone, but were specifically designed for those who suffer from mental ill-health, or autism.

About the Course

‘Survival Guide – Employability' starts on Wednesday 3rd November 2021. It runs from 10am to 2pm for 6 Wednesdays with an optional 7th if you would like to have a Mock Interview.

We will cover the fundamentals of confidence building, interview skills, effective communication, and much more.

There is a small amount of homework set that will enable you to end the course with a CV and a tool-kit that will help you tailor your application for any employer. We are here to support you with further meetings and courses that will help if there is anything else you need.
