About this event

Through three interactive workshops you will be challenged and given opportunities to explore the natural world. You will learn survival skills and be guided through a variety of mindfulness techniques to add to your toolkit for self-care and wellbeing.

FIRE – Learn a range of fire lighting techniques and release your fears into the fire you’ve created.

SHELTER – Participate in creating a shelter and embedding a new safe place into your mind through finding your own peaceful sit spot in nature.

YOUR CHALLENGE- Using your newfound knowledge of and confidence in the wild, return to test yourself in a light-hearted survival challenge.

Nature is known to do wonders for both our physical and mental wellbeing. By learning to re-engage with your ancestral knowledge and instinctive abilities, your confidence will flourish.

This workshop consists of three sessions on 22nd September, 6th October and 13th October. Each session is from 1.15pm and 4.15pm at Poole Farm. It would be great if those who sign up do so with the intention of attending all three sessions.

Unfortunately, this workshop is not suitable for wheelchair users due to constraints on the site. If you struggle with mobility, please contact Plymouth REG to discuss how we may be able to support you to attend.

This workshop is for people aged over 18 only. This is because our specialist knowledge relates to mental health challenges experienced by adults and we may not be able to offer appropriate support in relation to children and young people
