Join us for an evening learning to make (and eat) sushi at Weigh it Up in Highworth.

This is a hands-on event suitable for fish lovers, carnivores and vegetarians alike. You will make FIVE types of sushi including maki, uramaki, temaki, nigiri & inari using traditional Japanese and Western ingredients. We provide everything you need to make your own sushi with instruction. This works best as an eat as you go event as sushi is at its absolute best when it is freshly made, there will be plenty of food so make sure you arrive hungry! takeaway boxes are provided but please bring a cool bag if you intend to take food home with you.

We will have a wide range of traditional Japanese alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase on the night. Please do not bring your own food and/or drink to the venue.

Yes it is! Please choose the vegetarian or vegan menu when purchasing tickets.

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is plenty of on street parking available near the shop.

Children age 12 years and above can take part with a participating adult.

Do I need to bring anything?

We will supply takeaway boxes for any food you can't manage but you might like to bring a cool bag to take this home with you.

I don't like the sound of raw fish, are there any alternatives?

Yes! You can choose our non-raw menu or avoid fish altogether if you prefer.

I've never made sushi before, is this a problem?

Absolutely not! We will show you everything you need to know.
