Sustainability matters to all businesses, large and small!

For small and medium enterprises (SMEs), however, there is a huge barrier to taking action on sustainability because they have neither an experienced person or team internal to the business nor the requisite budget to hire professionals with expertise in sustainability. In addition, they are unable to invest time to start increasing their own knowledge about what sustainability means and why it matters for the long-term success of businesses.

Against this backdrop, SME Founders and their key decision-makers can be faced with feelings of overwhelm, fears of extra business costs and confusion about what to do and how to take meaningful action to achieve sustainability.

This 1-hour virtual seminar is designed to help decision makers in small organisations get a grasp of the basics of sustainability. Attendees will gain an understanding of what sustainability can mean for their businesses, dispel myths and gain insights about integrating sustainability into day-to-day operations.

What's covered:

•Sustainability -definition, key pillars, interpretation

•What are key drivers for making the business case for Sustainability

•Benefits of integrating sustainability in day-to-day business operations

• Why sustainability matters to SMEs in the supply chain of larger firms

•Reporting progress to customers, clients, other stakeholders

•Myths about sustainability

•Taking action -integrate sustainability into your business
