Sustainability in the Music Industry; Song Stories

In the digital age of streaming services and video platforms, does the song still sell? Should artists be awarded royalties based on a full analysis of their songs influence and its lifespan? How do independent labels, artists and promoters survive and work together in a world of ads, viral videos and free music?
Joined by Mycelia for Music, founded by Imogen Heap, who aim To empower a fair, sustainable and vibrant music industry ecosystem involving all online music interaction services, and To ensure all involved are paid and acknowledged fully.
The ECUK Launch will bring together some of the most creative, innovative and disruptive makers, thinkers and entrepreneurs together for a one day festival launch at the historic Old Granada Studios, complete with Reform Radio DJs, food, craft beer, cocktails, wine tastings and entertainment.
