About this event
Join us to celebrate the launch of the SustainAbility Project!
This exciting initiative will support 400 disabled people aged 16 to 30 in building confidence, gaining new skills, and accessing meaningful work experience and placements within green industries. These opportunities aim to lead to long-term, sustainable employment.
SustainAbility will be delivered across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, and Blaenau Gwent—empowering young people throughout South Wales to thrive in inclusive, environmentally focused careers.
This event brings together participants and employers to explore how we can build a more sustainable and equitable future for disabled people in South Wales—one opportunity at a time.
You'll hear from inspiring speakers, learn more about the SunstainAbility project, and discover how your organisation or journey can benefit from inclusive practices and green career pathways.
Whether you're looking to gain new skills, connect with inclusive employers, or support disabled people into meaningful roles, this event is for you.
The SustainAbility Project is a five-year initiative delivered in partnership by ELITE Supported Employment and Innovate Trust
We’re proud to have received a £3 million development grant from the National Lottery Community Fund through its Sustainable Steps Wales – Green Careers programme.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund for their generous support, and to Transport for Wales for kindly hosting the official launch of the SustainAbility Project.
