Event description
Organised bike ride as part of the Sustainable Stapleford Event - hosted by Stapleford Town Council. Free smoothies to cool down afterwards!

About this event

Open to all! A 5 mile loop from Walter Parker Square along the Erewash canal using cycle routes where possible. A small section to arrive at the canal is on roads but you will be in safe hands with qualified cycle instructors and professional mechanics.

Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.

We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group.

Perfect for those who are new to cycling, haven't been out in a while and or just want to meet more women to cycle with. You won't need anything fancy, just a bike that rides and comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and some enthusiasm for cycling!

This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. We'd love to hear from you, check out our socials to see what else is on offer fb:@womenintandemnotts and In: @Women_In_Tandem .
