Online event

A free online training course to learn what the circular economy is, how it helps to reduce waste and contributes to a sustainable future.

About this event

Want to learn key knowledge and skills needed for a sustainable future? PECT are delivering free training courses to Peterborough and Cambridgeshire (UK) residents as part of the BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy project.

The Circular Economy is a term to describe a change in the way we make and use materials, which allows us to reduce waste and our impact on the environment.

The circular economy moves away from wasteful single-use plastics and fast fashion. Instead, it focuses on reuse, repair and recycling.

This is an exciting opportunity for the job market as return, repair and recycling services will become more and more important, and will provide hundreds of new jobs across the country.

Whether you are looking to enhance your CV or just have an interest in sustainability and want to learn new skills, this free training course is a great opportunity to do just that.

Join us online on Zoom on Wednesday 24th August 2022 from 12.00 - 13.00. The link to join will be emailed separately upon registration.
