Sustainable Care Programme - Workshop 9 - Managing Risk

In this session we will help you to identify the key activities you need to focus on to manage risk and develop contingency plans. We will introduce you to tools and techniques to help you identify and manage risks effectively and develop contingency plans to address where appropriate.

Objectives –

This session will help you to:-

• Understand why you need to manage risk and establish contingencies.

• Implement an effective risk management process.

• Apply fundamental leadership tools to help manage risk.

• Develop an effective contingency plan for future risks identified.

All the sessions will be facilitated virtually via Zoom and will provide an opportunity for people managers to work together, exploring their challenges and sharing best practices as well as gaining new insights, tools and techniques.

Once you register for the programme, we will send you a skills diagnostic and further details of each session to help you choose the sessions that will be of most benefit to you.

Who can participate?

The programme has been designed to support those with people management responsibilities. The programme is fully funded, with all costs being met by Care Development East on your behalf.
