About EXPERIENCE
This training session forms part of the EXPERIENCE project – a project involving six areas of the Channel region (Cornwall, Brittany, Pas-de-Calais, Compiègne, Norfolk and Kent) to promote experiential tourism and sustainable economic growth during the quieter months between October and March. Cornwall’s funding will support activities that encourage sustainable cultural tourism in the Penzance pilot area.
The project will be offering training to support local businesses to develop out-of-season bookable visitor experiences. With a focus on sustainable cultural tourism, the experiences will connect visitors with the distinct historical, geographical and cultural assets of the local area. The project will deliver a targeted marketing strategy to encourage bookings and visits during the October to March period.
Future training
Further sessions on cycling tourism and content creation are due to happen later in the year. Sign up to EXPERIENCE newsletter to receive a notification on dates.
