How it works:

Bring along up to 5 quality items of clothing/accessories you've fallen out of love with (gently or never used and clean), in exchange we’ll give you tokens to shop rails full of beautiful branded donations and pre-loved style. We have over 100 stock items available in a range of styles and sizes before we even add your items to the rails, so everyone is guaranteed to go home happy.

Bring a mate, grab your free drink and shop your way to the most stylish sustainable wardrobe you’ve ever had.

£1 of every ticket sold will be donated to Emmelines Pantry - a volunteer charity dedicated to bettering the lives of Manchester women through an open foodbank providing food, clothing and toiletries for women in need.

Who Are We and What Do We Do?

Jeneral Store is the circular fashion hub of Manchester. We are your most stylish friend, switching up your view on sustainable fashion by bringing you all the good stuff that’s going unworn in one place. We hold pop-up boutique-inspired clothing swaps and invite you to experience a swap shop like no other.

Token Currency:

In exchange for items you bring, you receive tokens on a token card before you shop the rails :Brand new clothing/accessories with clothing tags are worth 2 TOKENS Good condition clothing/accessories are worth 1 TOKEN

What to bring:

dresses/skirts/shirts/tops/shorts/playsuits/jumpsuits/coats/jackets/jeans/trousers/shoes/bags/hats/scraves

What not to bring:

jewellery/nightwear/underwear/lingerie/slippers

“Bring the quality you expect to find” No stained/shrunk/bobbly items please.

Check seams/hems/buttons/rips/tears/loose sequins or beading etc. Unfortunately we won’t be able to accept items if they fail to meet these standards.

£10 tickets available on the door

Unused tokens can be used at any future Jeneral Store Swap Shops (please note a new ticket will need to be purchased for the swap you wish to attend).

Please note this is a womenswear only swap with majority of sizes 6-18 due to ticket responses we receive.
