About the Exhibition
What happens when fast food uniforms meet slow fashion? 🍟➡️👗
What Will Remain? is a fashion exhibition by Bournemouth-based designer and textile artist Muskan Mehan, exploring sustainability and overconsumption.
Muskan has upcycled six McDonald’s shift manager shirts into a striking one-of-a-kind dress, naturally dyed with turmeric and avocado pits, and hand-painted with symbolic floral motifs. The result is both nostalgic and thought-provoking, asking us to reflect on what we consume and ultimately, what will remain?
