Adrian Fox, Environmental Sustainability Officer of the Cathedral and Church Buildings Department, Church of England, is speaking on important issues for our historic buildings, halls and homes when reaching Net Zero.
A little bit about Adrian:
Adrian Fox began his career as a mining engineer before transitioning into law enforcement, where he served in various roles including detective and wildlife crime investigator. In 2007, he retrained as a heating engineer with a focus on renewable energy, marking the start of a 18-year career in the renewables and heritage sector. During this time, he worked as an engineer, installer, and project manager, gaining accreditations across a wide range of green technologies including solar PV, biomass, and heat pumps.
A qualified project manager and experienced heating engineer, Adrian has a deep passion for renewable energy and a particular interest in the sensitive integration of modern technologies within historic buildings. This passion led him to the National Trust, where he served as the technical lead project manager for their Renewable Energy Programme. Now in his current role, Adrian is embracing the challenge and drawing on his diverse background to bring a holistic yet pragmatic perspective to environmental sustainability.
