About this Event

Come and lose yourself in the world of knots at this mindfulness macramé workshop in a beautiful creative space in South East London. Try your hand at creating intricate plant hangers in a serene relaxing atmosphere.

Creating a macramé product can be very calming to the mind, body, and spirit! Many people find that macramé, an art of repetitive knots used to create designs to be a meditative art form.

In this class you will learn all the basics of macramé, including what materials to use, how to make basic macramé knots, and how to create beautiful Bohemian-inspired macramé plant hangers. Add more plants to your home by using these beautiful hangers to make better use of your space!

Macramé is an environmentally friendly art form - we will be using recycled cotton rope, recycled polyester rope and a wooden ring with an optional neon colour to add an extra edge to your design.

You will also learn about the benefits of this craft and many other tips to help you on your macramé journey.

All materials will be provided and you will get to go home with a wonderful macramé plant hanger ready to display - adding a touch of Bohemia to your home.

It's easy, fun and absolutely no previous experience is required!

Use your newfound skill to make yourself a wall hanging or Christmas gifts for friends & Family when you get home.

Hope to see you there!

The event will be held in the beautiful Bo.Lee Gallery in Peckham Rye. Organic snacks and drinks will be provided.
