Maritime industry, responsible for 90% of global trade contributes 3% of greenhouse gas emissions, requires net-zero transformation. My research addresses this through three innovations: ocean-based renewable energy systems including offshore wind turbines, tidal and wave conversion technologies, and floating solar; transformative propulsion technologies converting diesel vessels to electric-hydrogen systems enabling zero-emission operations; and artificial intelligence enhancement through predictive analytics and energy management. These integrated technologies deliver maritime decarbonisation while sustaining global clean energy efficiency.
