Do I need to know sewing or mending before I do the workshop?

No experience is needed. This is aimed at beginners and intermediates. All you need is an interest to learn and connecting through creativity.

About this event

Join us for a hands on, creative workshop, where we will use recycled textile waste to create each letter spelling out 'SUSTAINABLE SEPTEMBER', using patchwork and embroidery. This will be made into beautiful bunting which will be displayed at The Quarter shopping centre, in Wimbledon. What we will be doing:

Making unique, individual patchwork letters.
Using textile waste, ribbons and trims to create part of your design.
