No experience is needed. This is aimed at beginners and intermediates. All you need is an interest to learn and connecting through creativity.

About this event

Join us for a fun, creative workshop, for all ages. We will create vibrant, colourful bunting using strips of beautiful textile waste.

Embroidery and trims can be applied if desired, each strip will be unique.

This will be made into beautiful bunting which will be displayed at The Quarter shopping centre, in Wimbledon. Sponsored by Love Wimbledon (link https://lovewimbledon.org/whats-on/) as part of their Sustainable September activities and events.

What we will be doing:

Using textile waste to create streams of colourful fabric.
Cutting and tying fabric to create tassels.
Applying your creativity to create unique designs and patterns.

Scissors and sewing tools.
Expert guidance and tips from designers.
