Sustainable Sustenance: How Can Your Diet Change the World?

We will be exploring how our diets and the choices we make can impact the planet:

  • How does our diet impact climate change?

  • How do we make our decisions?- organic, fairtrade, buy local, freedom? Meat free?

  • Does gender impact this debate?

  • Why does it matter where our food comes from?

  • How can individuals and communities make a difference?

  • What can we do about packaging and waste?

  • Do we need to eat meat?

  • Is the future vegan? What is the best diet for health and climate?



Make sure you arrive for 6.30pm sharp and stay for drinks afterwards as we have some wonderful stalls for you to look around and food sampling:

Deidre Woods, BBC Cook of the Year 2016 will do a cooking demo too!

Plus there will be an Exhibition Area showcasing Gardens for Life PhotoVoice exhibition and photos and testimonies from WEN’s Gardens for Life project.



The evening will begin with drinks and nibbles with time to network and to check out and the stalls and sample food.

Our panel discussion will start at 7pm followed by a Q&A session.
