The first conference for a renewed Crew will focus on the merits of community-focussed regeneration and ensuring the sustainability of our local communities. It will also explore how the political landscape in Wales will impact on the shape of our communities, post Assembly elections and, crucially, the result of the referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union.
There will be a number of workshops focussing on delivering an integrated and holistic approach to developing sustainable local communities through community regeneration.
Confirmed speakers include:
Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales
Victoria Winckler, Director, Bevan Foundation
Barbara Castle OBE, Consultant, Community Regeneration
Einir Young, Director of Sustainability, Bangor University
