Together with SUT+, Technip’s UK operating centre is offering an opportunity for up to 12 attendees to visit and ‘fly’ Technip’s state of the art ROV simulator. Come along and experience the system that Workclass ROV operators train with, and have a go at controlling your own mission at Technip’s Westhill site on Friday 30th September 1330 to 1530.
This event benefits from Technip’s world class ROV expertise with a fleet of advanced vehicles working across the globe. The simulator plays an integral part of this capability, offering ongoing training to highly skilled ROV crews and offering the chance to model future campaigns, streamline subsea activity and identify potential savings. Industry experts will be on hand to present and explain how the system operates, and how it can be used to drive forward changes in approaches to offshore projects.
If you would like to be part of this event sign up using the Eventbrite link provided, please note however that due to the level of access being offered to a Technip facility we are regrettably unable to accept visitors employed by direct competitors. Places are limited due to the number of operator positions, but if you’re lucky enough to get a place we do hope you’ll thoroughly enjoy the afternoon.
Attendees should make their own way to the event, however, Westhill is well linked with public transport and there are a variety of parking options available in the local vicinity.
