As usual we have a packed weekend of fun planned with an exciting blend of your favourite attractions; Dako Flying Angels, Human Fruit Machine, Hot Dog Brass Band.

*NEW for 2025* - The Sutton on Trent Grand National and Paws for Thought canine display team. Intercative music/dance with Toddle Bops in the Tea Tent on Sunday.

There’ll be face-painting, classic cars, pre-loved clothing boutique, interactive animal experiences, with White Post Farm and Go-Active Falconry. Enjoy arts, crafts, plants and produce. From everyone’s favourite dog show to ‘downwards dogs’ in the yoga tent with Wild Earth Yoga.

Climb, Bounceabout, dance and be merry with an assortment of food and drink offerings, including Milestone Brewery’s raceday inspired beers, George is Cooking, and Dessie's BBQ treats. As usual there’s an exceptional line up of local talent with live bands such as Most Ugly Child, The Hopyards, Sugar Tree, Streethawks and so much more.

The Sutton on Trent Festival, run by the Sutton on Trent Village Fund (Registered charity No. 1054790) raises charitable funds to be distributed around the local area.

The festival is a reflection of the strong community spirit in the local community.

Contactless Payment via Debit / Credit Card will again be available on site this year for entry fee & bar payments!

Frequently asked questions

What time do gates open and close Saturday?

Gates open at 12:00 on Saturday with the site closing promptly at 22:00, last orders at the bar 22:00, then join us as the Nelson for jam session with live music.

What time do gates open and close Sunday?

Gates open at 11:00 on Sunday with the site closing promptly at 17:00, last orders at the bar 16:30. Wild Earth Yoga session prior to site opening at 09:30 am

Is the event child friendly?

Most definitely, it's a family festival with lots of attractions purely for children.

Can I pay on the day?

Yes you can for the day, subject to availability. Tickets for the Saturday evening MUST be purchased before 17:00 on the day.

Is there parking?

Yes, parking is provided FOC on the field opposite. Additional street parking is also available. Please consider access around the village and do not obstruct any of the residents' driveways.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely we love to see well behaved dogs and even have a fun dog show your fabulous pooch can enter. Please bring poo bags and keep you dogs on a lead at all times.

Can I pay by card?

Yes! Card is accepted on the gate, at the bar and at selected food and retail stands. But please bring cash too as some stalls cannot accept cards.

Can we bring a picnic?

Food and drink stalls are available both days, so there is no need to bring anything. While we don't mind you bringing the odd snack. It is not permitted to bring any alcohol on to site.

Are there any restrictions to entry?

There will be no admission without a valid e-ticket, or a ticket purchased on the day. Admission to the Festival site is at the ticket holder’s own risk. By entering the Festival, you are agreeing to the Festival’s Rules of Conduct.

Festival Rules of Conduct - attending the festival

Wristbands must be worn at all times, those without one will be removed from site. The Village Fund and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission and /or evict from site. You must comply with all Health & Safety rules and any specific security requirements.

Festival Rules of Conduct - keeping everyone safe

You must comply and follow any messages or announcements across site. The Village Fund will operate security bag searches and as such you may be searched on entry with prohibited items confiscated. The Village Fund and the venue will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained.

Festival Rules of Conduct - Vehicles on site

Please ensure you comply with the 5 MPH speed limit whilst driving on site. All vehicles are parked entirely at owner’s risk.

Festival Rules of Conduct - Please be aware

The Village Fund will reserve the right to implement CCTV as and when it is deemed necessary to ensure the safety and security of festival goers and our volunteers. Ticket sales will cease at 17:00 (Saturday) and we will operate a ‘No wristband No entry’ to site.

What is the cancellation policy?

The event is run purely by volunteers. All ticket sales are non-refundable, we are a charity, with profits going to the Sutton on Trent Village Fund - Charity number: 1054790 to support community groups and events throughout the year.
