In partnership with Cambridge Wireless, The Cambridge Science Park is home to our Cambridge Masterclass events this year where a line-up of inspirational speakers from Silicon Valley will address topics taking over the world of technology. They will offer advice and tips for starting a business, financing a business and proven business models for scaling a business.

Our lineup of wonderful speakers will include:

Karen Appleton Page, Apple

Karen Page is on the US Enterprise team, heading Strategic Partnerships (IBM, SAP, Deloitte) Channel and Industries, as well as the Mobility Partner Program at Apple. In her role, Karen leads the go-to-market team responsible for creating ecosystems of customers and partners, and developing transformational solutions that address major opportunities for enterprises. Karen’s was formerly Vice President of Business Development at Box where she was responsible for defining and leading Box's Industry GTM strategy. Previous to this she was an executive at Prosper, where she served as Head of Business Development at Orrick Herrington and Sutcliffe. Karen earned a Master’s degree in Organisational Development from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Towson University.

Matt Glickman, Stanford Graduate Board of Business

Matthew Glickman works as chairman and advisor to early stage technology firms. He is currently Chairman of NovoEd, an online technology firm that was incubated and spun out of Stanford. He was Co-Founder and CEO of enterprise software company Merced Systems, and prior to that was Co-Founder and CEO of BabyCenter, Inc., a consumer internet site for new and expectant parents. In earlier years, Glickman held product management and executive positions at Intuit, Inc., and was CFO of Teach for America, Inc., when it was a start up with a staff of 60 and a $5M annual budget. Glickman will be a co-instructor for STRAMGT 356/366: Startup Garage, for which he has served as student advisor, panelist and judge.

Shiza Shahid, The Malala Fund

Shiza Shahid is a social entrepreneur, television personality, speaker and women’s rights advocate. She is passionate about leveraging philanthropy, venture capital, technology, and the media to drive scalable social impact. Shiza co-founded the Malala Fund with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, and Ziauddin Yousafzai, and led the organization as founding CEO. She is Co-Founder of NOW.Ventures, the world's first funding platform dedicated to enabling early-stage companies with transformative solutions for a prosperous world. Shiza is the founder of The Collective a global community of influential entrepreneurs, investors, artists, business leaders, human rights advocates, thought-leaders united by a desire to collaborate and improve the world.


There will be three sessions throughout the afternoon, and an agenda will be released shortly.
