The SVC2UK Summit will bring together the greatest minds in Silicon Valley, the UK, and beyond to fuel the growth of global tech ecosystems.

About this event

The annual Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK) Summit returns on the 15-18 of November 2021 for its 16th edition, featuring a series of high-profile, inspirational virtual and live events.

The four-day Summit will bring together the tech community, leading entrepreneurs, investors, and global thought leaders from the US & UK (and beyond) to discuss international scaling, the game-changing ideas of the future, and the role technology can play in solving some of the greatest challenges of our time. During the week, attendees from around the world will be able to access high-impact virtual content with in-person events taking place in London and across the UK.

    UK Together: Collaboration to Reach New Heights (Virtual)

    Monday 15th November

    Despite the unprecedented challenges of the past year, the UK tech sector has shown remarkable resilience and growth. Join us as we celebrate and highlight achievements in UK tech and explore how the ecosystem can play a part in our recovery from the pandemic and beyond. Discussions will also focus on how innovation, collaboration, and community play a key role in the continued growth and success of UK tech, as well as in supporting the next generation of start-ups to thrive.

    In the morning, we invite you to take part in a series of virtual events, culminating in community events (virtual or in-person) taking place around the UK in the afternoon/ evening, celebrating all things UK tech and entrepreneurship. Community events will be added to the Summit Hub closer to the date, where you can sign up for any open events.

    Good Growth Summit (In-Person)

    Tuesday 16th November

    The Good Growth Summit continues the conversation around the role entrepreneurs and the tech ecosystem play in building a better future. Our world is facing a reckoning, with the repercussions of climate change hitting us faster than estimated, the continued battle for a more equal and diverse society facing resistance and pandemic uncertainty resulting in a mental health crisis. “Good Growth” is at the foundation of responding to these challenges.

    The Good Growth Summit features founders, businesses, investors, and thought leaders who through their work not only contribute to sustainable growth but have purpose and social impact at the heart of their business. This year, the Summit will take place in-person in London.

    CEO Summit (In-Person: Closed Event)

    The CEO Summit brings together Founders and CEOs of some of the fastest-growing UK scale ups, who are a part of the Scale Up Club, to discuss their growth challenges, successes, and expansion plans with each other and esteemed thought leaders and mentors.

    Global Gamechangers - Back to the Future (Virtual)

    Thursday 18th November

    The final day of the Summit features disruptors from across the world who are leading the way in tech and entrepreneurship. Join us as we explore the game-changing technologies of the future, the people who are challenging the status quo, the long-term industry trends and challenges, and how tech will continue to change our world.

    This virtual event will take you on a journey around the world, featuring global tech community leaders from Asia in the morning, through to EMEA, and westbound across to North America in the afternoon, culminating in the latest trends, developments, and leadership from Silicon Valley.

    Background

    SVC2UK  was founded in 2006, by Reid Hoffman,  Sherry Coutu CBE, and Ellen Levy who felt compelled to fuel the global ecosystem for tech entrepreneurship in a time where knowledge and investment felt siloed within Silicon Valley.  Today, SVC2UK exists to support all entrepreneurs on their journey to scale by removing barriers and connecting them to the tech ecosystem.
