About The Facilitator
Chris is a marketing and social impact leader committed to helping charities and purpose-driven organisations grow their reach, resilience and income. As Founder and CEO of The Marketing Department (TMD), he partners with organisations across the third sector to strengthen their brands, diversify revenue streams and build sustainable long-term impact.
With over 20 years’ experience, Chris blends commercial insight with mission-led strategy, supporting charities to enhance fundraising, digital presence and stakeholder engagement. His work has helped organisations such as Stepping Stones for Families, PEEK, The Abaseen Foundation, MindMosaic, SOHTIS, MISS and Indepen-dance to scale their influence and unlock new opportunities.
Alongside leading TMD, Chris served as Chair of Stepping Stones for Families (2020–2023), championing financial resilience and innovative income development. He is also an experienced event director, delivering impactful programmes that unite sectors, create partnerships and generate meaningful returns.
