Alistair Donohew is the Principal Environmental Director at Crawford Environmental Consultants, part of Crawford & Co., and brings over 28 years of experience in scientific research, technical consulting, education, policy advisory, and environmental management. In his strategic role, Alistair focuses on expanding and delivering expert environmental services across a broad spectrum of disciplines. Throughout his career, he has successfully led and managed projects that span environmental and sustainability assessments, ESG due diligence, carbon reporting and management, economic evaluation and business case development, social and economic impact assessments, urban and rural regeneration, climate adaptation and mitigation, sustainable procurement, stakeholder engagement, and strategy formation.
He has worked extensively within multidisciplinary design teams, where he has contributed both technical and strategic insights to developments, masterplans, and regional initiatives. At Crawford, Alistair is committed to driving sustainable solutions that assist businesses, governments, and communities in managing environmental risks, enhancing resilience, and achieving long-term sustainability goals.
