Preseason is here! Our coaching leadership group of Daniel Lewis, Jack Mullins and Ross Owen welcome you back to practice to kick off the 2022 season!

Note: BAFA Adult Contact Membership is mandatory for all returning players - Wyverns, transfers and anyone that has played the sport before.

If you're new to the sport, don't worry! There's absolutely no experience necessary and you are covered by 3 x Free sessions with basic insurance cover by our National Governing Body, BAFA. We advise that you look into your own insurance for longer term participation.

Transferring players, thank you for considering joining the Wyverns! We offer 2 x Free sessions before asking you to commit to the Wyverns, we hope that this will give you enough time to meet your new coaches and teammates before submitting a transfer request. However, you are reminded that any inclusion in sanctioned British American football activities require you to have an active "BAFA Adult Contact Membership". You will be asked to provide proof of this prior to the event.

We track all attendance, if in doubt, just ask.

Please Read:

Before attending any sport or physical activity, all participants, officials, volunteers and spectators should self-assess for symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). These are:

• a high temperature
• a new, continuous cough
• a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste

If you have one or more of these symptoms you should not attend any sporting activity, even if your symptoms are mild. You should follow NHS guidance on testing and self-isolation.

SWAFC recommends that all participents of club events complete a Rapid lateral flow test (LFT) before attending.

All players that have completed their BAFA sponsored, introductory 3 x Free sessions must:

1. Have an active BAFA Adult Contact membership - https://bafa.azolve.com

4. Setup their Direct Debit to begin paying subs - email info@somersetwyverns.co.uk for info.

Attendees that are completely new to the sport must :

After 3 x Free sessions, new players must complete player registration as above.

Failure to complete any of the above will result in your ticket being withdrawn.
