Information:
Swan & the Same is a show made & performed in canoes on Exeter Canal.
- Working with Exeter Canoe Club you’ll be helped into canoes, introduced the basics of open canoeing and then once everyone feels comfortable on the water , you are guided down river to the beginning of the rest of the performance. The performance will end back at Exeter Canoe Club where you’ll be assisted off the water.
- No level of experience of water sports is necessary and the relevant buoyancy aids and other safety considerations will be covered - though maybe worth avoiding if you’re aquaphobic!
- Tickets can be booked in groups of two people per canoe & for social distancing reasons we’d encourage you to only book a canoe within a household or bubble. Each performance can accommodate 8 people. However, you are also welcome to come and watch the event from the bank.
- Support with those with additional access needs can be provided please get in touch with us before the performance on joshua@runningdogtheatre.com to arrange this.
- We won’t be going in the water (hopefully!)But because of the outdoor active nature of the performance it may be worth bringing clothes you’re happy to get wet, a towel and a change of outfit in case!
- The performance will be going ahead in whatever weather so dress appropriately!
