The Swatch Battle of Hastings BMX Competition is back for 2025! Back for its 9th year at the Source Park on September 4th - 7th 2025 (Ticketed on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th). Watch the World's best BMX riders compete for a $23k Pro purse in the World's largest underground Skatepark!

The Swatch Battle of Hastings, Supported by Monster Energy, Vans and Marshall. in association with; BSD, Cinema, Fiend,, Haro, Kink, Odyssey, Profile, Shadow, Subrosa, WTP.

Schedule:

Thursday 4th - Plaza sessions & PracticePractice is free to spectate from the bowl. Plaza session will be streamed live as well as shown in real-time in the Source Courtyard.

Friday 5th - Practice and Beach Jam Practice will be free to spectate throughout the day. Evening beach jam is free to spectate.

Saturday 6th - Bowl Sessions and Best Trick* Ticketed event doors from 12noon event starts at 4pm

Sunday 7th - Finals*Ticketed event. doors from 12noon event starts at 4pm

*In addition to the Battle of Hastings Schedule there will also be additional satelite events throughout the weekend which your tickets will gain you priority access to:

Saturday - Swatch Flat Battle (Flatland competition)

Sunday - Nora cup awards.

Weekend Ticket £52 (Valid for both days - Sat + Sun)

Saturday Only Ticket £30 (Valid for Saturday only)

FAQs

Is there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There are no age limits to the Event. However anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees must have a valid ticket (Except Children Under 5 go free with a paying Adult)

What is the Best Day to Come?

Both the Saturday and Sunday are Full days of riding. The Saturday features 2 riders from each team in the competition having Runs in the Main skatepark as well as the Best Trick. Where as Sunday has the top 5 teams battling it out in the Final.

Can I come and Watch on the Thursday and Friday?

Thursday is the Plaza sessions and practice and Friday is Practice in the park as well as the Beach Jam (outside Source Park) both of which are free to spectate. Inside Source Park viewing is on a first come, first serve Basis. The Plaza session on Thursday will be viewable online or in the Courtyard at Source park on screens.

Can I come to the after parties?

There will be parties and events throughout the town after each day of Battle of Hastings so it’s easy to make a weekend party of it! Usual licensing restrictions will apply dependant on venue and is generally for Over 18's only. Swatch Flat battle on Saturday Plus NORA cup Sunday night - everyone welcome!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Can I bring my bike to the Battle of Hastings?

Unfortunately due to space no Bikes will be allowed inside the Source Park when the event is on.

Can I bring my own food and Alcohol?

Unfortunately our license won't allow food or Alcoholic drink brought into the venue. Food, drink and alcohol will be available within the Source Park

Can I film and take photos?

Yes from the balcony area you will be allowed to film or take photos. You will not be allowed onto the course level.

Is there wheelchair Access?

Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access into the Source Park Bowl. However the Competition will be streamed live online at www.sourcebmx.com. There is also wheelchair access to the Courtyard area of Source Park where the event will be streamed live.

Is my ticket refundable?

All tickets for the Battle of Hastings are refundable up to 30 days prior to the Event.

ALL TICKETS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE AND ANY TICKETS SUSPECTED OF BEING RE-SOLD WILL BE CANCELED.
