Sweet Wrappers Weaving X Bookbinding Workshop

In this creative and hands-on workshop, you’ll design and weave your own unique notebook cover. You're encouraged to bring wrappers that hold personal meaning — a memory, a moment, or simply a favourite treat — and incorporate them into your design.

After creating your cover, you'll fold your own inner pages and then finally bind everything together using a simple 3 stitch binding. This is a tactile, thoughtful workshop where craft, memory, and storytelling meet.

Create your own one-of-a-kind notebook, which you get to take home with you!

About the Facilitator: kamipaper makes handmade blank notebooks using upcycled materials, upcycled sewn creations and self-published zines. They care about the environment, sustainability and are interested in the East and South East Asian (ESEA) diaspora, where they weave bits of their British ESEA culture into their works when possible. They are also a community artist and arts facilitator, having made a zine about a family-run Chinese takeaway in East London and was a community co-curator for Nana’s House – an interactive East London living room installation at London College of Fashion in 2023. @kamipaperuk
