Event description

Description

Join experienced river guide Martin Leonard on a citizen science field trip. Stretches of the Cleddau Waterway are hard to access on foot. Canoes are an excellent way of collecting information on the small streams, drains and runoffs into the Cleddau. This will help build a better picture of the harmful levels of nutrient build up in the Haven.

As well as visual surveys, test equipment will be used to assess the nutrient levels in the streams at the time of the trip.

All equipment will be supplied.

If you have your own warm clothing suitable canoeing that is great.

The trip is led by qualified and insured instructors.

For safety reasons, you must be able to swim 50m.

There is no charge for the trip.

Because of the time of year and nature of the trip, final arrangements will be weather dependent.
