2016 sees the launch of a new open water swimming festival staged in one of the greatest city parks in the world. Swim Serpentine is a mile long swim which will be held in the beautiful Serpentine, Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
On Saturday 24 September you could be one of the 6,000 swimmers who swim one mile in this new mass participate event! Every swimmer will be allocated to a specific start wave, with a total of 18 waves setting off at regular intervals during the day. Swimmers can either wear a wetsuit or use a tow-float. Both wetsuit and tow-float hire will be available at the Serpentine on the day.
