The Division of Social Work and the College of Health and Life Sciences, Brunel University London are delighted to invite you to a special screening of the award-winning documentary Swim Team followed by a Q&A session with the film's director and producer Lara Stolman.

Swim Team tells the story of the parents of a boy on the autism spectrum form a competitive swim team, recruiting other teens on the spectrum and training them with high expectations and zero pity. SWIM TEAM chronicles the extraordinary rise of three diverse young athletes, capturing a moving quest for inclusion, independence and a life that feels winning.

SWIM TEAM was screened at over 50 international film festivals, won 13 awards, was released theatrically in the US with its debut at New York's IFC Center and aired in American on PBS' acclaimed non-fiction showcase POV.
