Event description

Description

Join us for a special evening - it is the Opening Event for the first Harbour Fest Swindon AND the Launch of Swindon City of Sanctuary.

Special guests including the founder of City of Sanctuary, representatives from Amnesty and the Harbour Project, will welcome us to the event, and - after a short introduction - the show begins:

We have an amazing mix of multi-cultural performances and entertainment for you!!! Kurdish singers, Indian and African dancers, Spanish guitar, Swindon drama and poetry, and lots, lots more.

Please join us for this feast for the senses. And for the free international snacks too.

Entry is FREE - please register here: click the green REGISTER button above, so we know how many people to expect.

Donations on the night will be very welcome - we're raising money for the Harbour Project, a Swindon charity that provides welcome and support for asylum seekers and refugees.

Our Harbour Bar will be there to quench your thirst for the whole evening.

Harbour Fest Swindon

As well as this Opening Event, we will have a pop-up art exhibition in town, film night with World Music Disco Party, and the Big Gig Night. Please visit our Facebook page (and 'like' us) or the festival website for more details and to join our mailing list or to volunteer.
