Swindon Connecting People Network - connecting people and addressing loneliness
Launched in 2019, the aim of the Swindon Connecting People Network is to bring organisations together, from across Swindon, who have an interest in or provide day to day activities that connect people and address loneliness, to share learning and to network.
Please join us for the Swindon Connecting People Network online networking workshop on Thursday 13 November 2025 at 10am - 11:30am.
This Zoom networking workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and share how the voluntary sector is collaborating and responding to help people connect and re-connect in our communities to improve wellbeing.
We aim for discussion sessions to be timely, themes will be considered and shared nearer the time - if you have ideas for discussion topics or speakers you'd like to hear from, please let us know!
The Network's focus is on discussion, sharing, learning and networking.
To enable as many groups to participate as possible, we ask for one person per organisation please. If you have any queries or you’re interested in the Network, but unable to join the network meeting, please contact / register your interest by emailing – margaret.firth@wiltshirecf.org.uk
During registration we will ask if you are happy to have your name, organisation and email address shared with other attendees, if you agree we will include your details in the attendee list to aid networking.
The Wiltshire Community Foundation (WCF) is working together with Voluntary Action Swindon (VAS) and Swindon Borough Council (SBC) to support the Swindon Connecting People Network. This initiative continues WCF's Loneliness Uncovered project which was supported by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and The National Lottery Community Fund.
