Event description

Calling your 16-18 year old students and 2018 school leavers from the Swindon area...

  • Would you like to find out more about apprenticeships?

  • Are you thinking about an apprenticeship rather than university - but not sure where to start?

  • Do you want to earn while you learn the skills needed for your chosen career?

  • Could you benefit from meeting over 55 companies who are actively recruiting young people from Swindon now?

JobFest will be held at STEAM in Swindon on Tuesday 6th March and will bring together employers, colleges and training providers from the Swindon area with students wanting to find out more about what apprenticeships can offer.

Schools only are being invited from 1-2.30pm and FREE school transport will be provided to and from STEAM to school.

Now in its 4th year, over 55 national and local business exhibitors will be taking part.

It’s a great chance for students, who might not wish to attend university, to meet a lot of prospective employers in a short period of time, learn about their apprenticeship training opportunities and hear about any current job vacancies - plus promote themselves to prospective employers.

The event is FREE to schools, all you need to do is complete the registration include the number of students you are committing your school to bring.

Funded by Swindon Borough Council, JobFest is being planned and delivered by The Education Business Partnership and supported by Business West.
