Swindon Mindful Employer Network - Consistent Approach to Leadership - Prom...
Event Information
Description
Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem this year – this equates to 25% of an average business’ workforce.
In light of shocking statistics such as these, the scale of mental health issues is a growing concern for businesses.
Mental health is linked to a variety of workplace issues including absenteeism, increased staff turnover and poor performance, and poses a complex set of challenges for business owners and managers to deal with.
Responding to this need to help destigmatise and minimise the impact of mental health issues in the workplace, Swindon Mindful Employer Network (SMEN) will relaunch in October to help empower organisations – large or small – support the mental wellbeing of their staff.
Our first event of 2020 will be held at Wrag Barn Golf Club in Swindon and will focus on ' Consistent Approach to Leadership - Promoting Good Work Life Balance'.
